Vidros Barbosa & Almeida Spanish Mergers

Portuguese glassware company Vidros Barbosa & Almeida, controlled by Portuguese conglomerate Sonae, merged its three Spanish subsidiaries in December 2001. The three merged subsidiaries, Fabrica de Envases de Vidrio Barbosa & Almeida, Vidreira Leonese and Lambda del Piero merged with a Spanish company specialised in the production of glass packaging containers: BA-Vidrio.
