Vidrala - Looking To Italy

Vidrala is looking to make new acquisitions in Italy, following the takeover of Belgium's Manufacture du Verre for EUR 35 million. "We are very open to new acquisitions to reinforce our position in Italy", said the president of Vidrala, Carlos Delclaux, on 21 June 2007. Mr. Delclaux is seeking to turn the Spanish firm into one of the main glass packaging manufacturers in southern Europe.
