A Versatile Multi-Functional Glass Adapter For Use In Chmistry Laboratories

Preparation of chemicals and compounds involves several stages, i.e. refluxing, distillation, vacuum distillation, recovery and reactions etc. A number of intermediate adapters were used to assemble the glass apparatus for different stages which would be cumbersome and expensive especially for a small laboratory. A single versatile multi-functional adapter of this kind would be useful and the design, fabrication and its utility are described here.
