Verallia Invests €50M In Three Spanish Plants

This article reports on how Verallia is to invest €50m in its Spanish operations in 20188. The planned investments are: Zaragoza, where facilities will be updated early 2018; Azuqueca de Henares, with a new production line to be added; and Burgos, where the furnace will be refurbished and converted into one of the larges in Europe. The company said increased domestic and export demand, an upturn in end markets and increased consumer awareness of the advantages of glass have combined to make Spain a strategic company.
