Use Of Lead Crystal For Long-Term Storage

In 1991 Pr Graziano & Blum tried to create sensation with the publication of a paper in The Lancet. They addressed specifically the issue of lead exposure through the use of lead crystal vessels and particularly decanters. Their study concluded that "alcoholic beverages stored in lead crystal decanters steadily increase in lead concentration". This paper brings new light on this issue, thanks to an objective examination of scientific information and to experimental data.
