[Usa] Zeledyne Opts To Mothball Furnaces

Automotive glass maker Zeledyne LLC has shut one of its two furnaces and will run at half capacity until the sector recovers, officials at the former Ford glass plant said recently. Zeledyne shut down the furnace for maintenance late November but now says that plans to fire it back up are uncertain. When it will reopen will depend on how quickly the auto industry recovers from its dismal sales numbers, the company said.
