The Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA) has released a new Vacuum Insulating Glass Technical Bulletin on its webstore. The bulletin is intended to assist residential or commercial insulating glass and window manufacturers on the topic of vacuum insulating glazing (VIG). "We feel it is very important to offer this document to the global IG industry," said Marg Webb, IGMA executive director. "Many manufacturers are looking to incorporate VIG and our purpose was to give them the proper tools to accurately determine the benefits of VIG systems." VIG task group chair Dave Cooper of Guardian Industries said: "We had strong representation from the global VIG community, contributing many hours to create this document> It is a nice primer to VIG and its intended usage."
