Saint-Gobain Containers is the subject of a new television documentary & is marking the 400th anniversary of the glass industry in N. America. The company is the top supplier of glass bottles to beer giant Anheuser-Busch, & that distinction helped attract the attention of the producers of World's Greatest, a TV series broadcast on Ion TV. "They had done a special on Anheuser-Busch & we're the largest supplier to them", said Gina Behrman, SGC spokesman. "They asked questions about our company, including our forward-looking goals, & they chose us as one of the world's greatest companies." The producers filmed segments at SGC's corporate headquarters in Muncie, Indiana & at one of the company's production facilities. The programme was shown November on Ion Television and is likely to be repeated, Ms. Behrman said.
