[Usa] Guardian Names Flat Glass President To Replace Russ Ebeid Upon Retirement

Guardian Industries has announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Scott Thomsen to President of its Flat Glass Group with effect from 1 September 2011. Mr Thomsen succeeds Russ Ebeid, who will retire on 1 September after 41 years with the company. During the transitional period prior to his appointment, Mr Thomsen will assume the new role of Chief Operating Officer, working closely with Mr Ebeid. As the new President of the Flat Glass Group, he will oversee the worldwide operations of Guardian's float glass manufacturing, marketing, distribution and product development.
