[Usa] Bopp Testifies On Tri Burden Reduction At House Hearing

Andy Bopp, SGCD's Director of Public Affairs, testified before the US House of Representatives Committee on Energy & Commerce/Subcommittee on Environment & Hazardous Materials on Oct 4 to oppose legislation that would reverse EPA's December 2006 Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) burden reduction rule. That rule simplified TRI reporting for small businesses including some decorators. Bopp quoted liberally from testimony presented by Nancy Klinefelter, President of Baltimore Glassware Decorators, before the Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works in Feb.
