Unmanned Batch Plant Opens In St Helens

Last September, Pilkington opened a completely automated batch plant facility at its Watson Street works. The plant serves both furnaces on the site, making rolled patterned glass and wired glass. The oldest factory in the Pilkington Group now has the most modern batch plant.
