Scotland's best selling whisky, The Famous Grouse, has undergone the most radical image change in its 200 year history. The stylish new bottle, designed by Pearlfisher and made by United Glass, reflects the brand's premium status and much loved personality. It forms part of a multi-million pound makeover by parent company Edrington to drive sales of its flagship Scotch. United Glass worked within strict parameters of height and diameter to interpret the marketeers's vision to create a bottle that was both distinctive and "ownable" by The Famous Grouse brand while capable of running smoothly at over 600 bottles/m along the fastest Scotch whisky filling line in the world. The new design affords the brand a more contemporary feel as befits a spirit now enjoyed by the fashionable generation in many Mediterranean countries.
