Unexplored Heat Recovery In The Container Glass Industry

The industry has dramatically reduced the amount of energy consumed in the glassmaking process in the past 15 years. In this article, the authors explain that further reductions are possible, but each glass producer has to juggle an economic balance between prolonging a furnace lifetime and possible further technical improvements.
