Understanding Heavy Metal Limits

The Society of Glass & Ceramic Decorators (SGCD) supports responsible efforts to assure that glass and ceramic products do not pose health problems or harm the environment. In 2007, the Society released an updated White Paper entitled: "Lead and Other Heavy Metal: Where Does the Decorating Industry Stand?" This article summarises the heavy metal federal legal limits for glass and ceramic decorators.
