Situated in central Ukraine, Vilnohisrk State Mining & Metallurgical Plant (VSMMP) mines, separates and processes titanium/zirconium, and aluminium silicate ores on a large scale. Established in 1956 the firm's operation includes the Malyshev deposit and mine, separation facilities, chemical operations, a heat and electric generating station, mining transport, railway transport, dust and gas collectors, a repair shop and various maintenance personnel. Employing approximately 6000 people, these facilities allow the operation to continue all year round.
