Uk Politicians Back Plastics

Members of Parliament in the UK have signed a motion to ban glass in favour of plastic alternatives in a bid to prevent injuries in pubs and clubs. A cross-party group of 34 MPs, led by Julie Morgan, Labour MP for Cardiff North, signed a Commons motion last week. They backed studies by the University of Wales College of Medicine saying a switch to plastic bottles would make pubs safer.
