[Uae] Emirates Signs Second Float Line Agreement With Ppg

Emirates Float Glass (EFG) has signed a technology licensing agreement with PPG Industries for its second float glass manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. The second production line, which is to be built at the same location as its existing unit, enables Emirates Float Glass to become one of the biggest single-location float glass manufacturing facility in the region. The two production lines will reportedly have a total production capacity of 1200/tpd. GM Mr N D Mohanty, commented on its continued partnership with PPG Ind: "Within the next 2-3 years, we plant to further expand our operations by setting up a number of related value added and special product glass processing facilities in order to meet growing consumer demand."
