[Uae] Efg Fully Operational

Emirates Float Glass (EFG) has announced that its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi is now fully operational, achieving 100% output capacity. Costing around Dhs692M, with technical assistance from PPG Industries, EFG is thought to be the largest integrated processing facility in the UAE. Capacity under the phase 1 of the project is 190,000/tpa. EFG's General Manager said: "EFG began commercial operations just over a year ago and it is a matter of pride for us that the company has been able to achieve optimal capacity utilisation in such a short space of time, despite market conditions remaining challenging over the past year."
