[Turkey] Second Float Glass Furnace Lit

Trakya Cam Sanayii said that it lit the second float glass furnace at its subsidiary Trakya Yenisehir Cam Sanayi on 30 October 2007. Trakya Cam holds an 85% stake in Trakya Yenisehir. The second float glass furnace has an annual capacity of 225,000 tonnes and it is the sixth largest float glass furnace in Turkey. In a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange, Trakya Cam said that commercial production from the second furnace would start at end-November 2007.
