[Turkey] New Furnace Operational

Trakya Yenisehir Cam Sanayi, a subsidiary of Sisecam group company Trakya Cam, announced that its first flat glass furnace has become operational. The furnace has an annual production capacity of 225,000 tonnes and commercial production will commence at the end of May 2007. The statement sent to the Istanbul Stock Exchange by Trakya Cam noted that the investment in its second production line is currently underway and the line, with an annual capacity of 225,000 tonnes, will become operational in November 2007.
