[Turkey] New Flat Glass Factory Planned For Ankara

Turkish flat glass manufacturer Trakya Cam has announced plans to set up a flat glass factory in Ankara. The facility will be the country's seventh float line and will have an annual production capacity of 230,000 tonnes. In May 2007 the company said that its 84% subsidiary Trakya Yenisehir Cam's flat glass plant will start commercial output in June. The plant has an annual production capacity of 225,000 tonnes. Trakya Yenisehir Cam's is also currently carrying out a coated glass factory investment.
