Triveni Sheet Glass Works

Based in the northern part of the country, one of India's largest glassworks has been in business for over 20 years. Triveni operates three manufacturing units with a combined production capacity of 715 tonnes/day, and boasts its own government-backed research and development centre. Glass products manufactured by the company are varied, ranging from clear sheet glass to coloured figured and wired glass, and to neutral glass tubes. The main manufacturing unit consists of five plants, one of which is a new float glass installation that commenced operations in early Spring of this year, using Chinese-engineered technology.
