Trime Resolving Approach To Electrode Phenomena In Ion Conducting Glasses

This paper presents a brief review of the time resolving approach to intrinsic and extrinsic (electrode related) ion dynamics in ion conducting glasses. This is based principally on the author's works using single or multiple pulses of d.c. biasing in the time domain. The d.c. technique enables us to follow in situ the process of ion dynamics, and to clarify the electrode phenomena taking place on both sides of the glass by surface analysis after biasing.
