Treatment Option For Lead-Containing Waste Water

A factor that could affect the future operation of glassworks producing lead crystal articles is their ability to cope with environmental protection regulations. Cutting, grinding and polishing give rise to waste water contaminated both by particles of glass and dissolved lead. However, a cleaning process based on absorption of contaminants by bentonite can provide a solution for small or medium-sized workshops involved in grinding and cutting processes.
