Transport Phenomena In Glass Technology (Review)

The role of transfer (mass or energy) phenomena in glass technological processes is discussed. Peculiarities of transfer phenomena changes related to change of temperatures and glass chemical compositions in melt and solid states were studied. Also, relationships between transfer phenomena were investigated. The outstanding features of glass forming melts are their viscosities that substantially affect transfer phenomena connected with particle relocations, which can be described by specific relations. Results of experimental and theoretical researcher are evaluated.
