The International Glass Centre (ICG) at Dudley College currently offers three glass-related training courses: Glass Techniques and Technology, a HND in Glass with Ceramics and a post graduate certificate in Glass Techniques and Technology. Glass Techniques & Technology is accredited by the Open College Network W Midlands and is aimed at people who wish to obtain a thorough grounding in the "hands on" skills of hot glass blowing, cold glass working, kiln work, glass materials technology, studio furnace building, engraving and design and technology. It is ideal for people who wish to set up a studio or obtain work in a studio. The HND course is a design-based option aimed at students who wish to obtain a design qualification with a bias towards glass and ceramics.
