One of the great names in crystal, Saint Louis, earned its prestige and fame above all during the "golden age" in the 19th century, when it featured among the top three crystal makers in the world. Today, the company keeps a lower profile than some of its more famous rivals, but the image of splendour and luxury of that bygone era has not faded.
