Tpb Test Provides New Insight To Fibre Strength, Quality

Failure strains measured using a two-point bend (TPB) testing technique provide useful information about the properties and quality of glasses and allow characterisation of the effects of melt history on the nominal homogeneity of the resulting glasses, in particular, the effects of melt processing near the liquidus temperature.
