Towards Integrated Pollution Control In The Eu

Since 1998, a process of exchange of information has been going on within the glass industry in EU member states in order to draw up guidelines for enforcing the EU Directive on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control, passed in 1996. Here, the coordinator of the group reports on the main consequences of the Directive and on progress so far in compiling an official reference document (BREF) for the EU Commission.
