Toughening After Coating

Glaverbel currently offers a broad range of coated glass. It claims to be the first company to launch a soft-coated glass on the EU market that reduces solar energy levels entering buildings in the summer & also reduces heat loss in the winter. Named "Energy" it offers high levels of light transmission, thermal comfort in summer & winter, & lower heating, air-conditioning & electricity costs. "Energy N" is a clear glass to which a low-E coating is applied by means of magnetron sputtering & is only used in double glazing. "Energy NT" has a toughenable coating & is similar to "Energy N" in terms of light transmission, light reflection & thermal insulation. The fact that Energy NT can be toughened makes processing much simpler. "Energy NT" can be toughened after the low-E coating has been applied. For more information please see: www.myglaverbel.com
