Herti has seen significant growth during the past ten years, although the company began its journey to become a leading player in 1993 when three Bulgarian business entrepreneurs founded it as a greenfield project. The company began production with just one machine that specialised in the manufacture of one type of aluminium closure for the drinks industry. Subsequently, the company embarked on a programme of continuous investment to become a limited liability public company that, today, produces more than 1.5BN aluminium and plastic caps/pa. Herti also has four subsidiaries, one specialising in the manufacture of tools and machines and the other three are trade comapnies in UK, France and Romania.
