Tinted One-Coat Glass Enamels For Steel

A basic formula for one-coat glass enamel is developed, which makes it possible to obtain a wide colour range of coatings for steel products with good surface quality. A number of ionic colourants is tested, mainly compounds of d- and f-elements. The properties of coatings are studied: chemical resistance, adhesion strength, luster and heat resistance. Their firing temperature is determined. The obtained glass enamels can be used in industrial production.
