Thin glass is increasingly used not only in vehicles and cars but also in the electronics and optical fields. In fact, it is used in practically all industries that use components made of flat glass, whether they are bent or not. In cars, there is a strong tendency for thinner glasses. The main reason for this is weight saving, along with reduction of noise and prevention of burglary. These trends require complex glass shapes and thin glass bending technologies or even reverse curvature.
