Thermal Processing For Tv Tube Manufacture; Process Modelling

This paper gives a brief description of modelling temperature distribution around a TV tube undergoing a thermal cycle. It includes the use of finite element techniques. These are supported by empirical data obtained from static testing and production plant in commercial operation. The objective is to provide a structured approach for developing designs which meet the industry's requirements.
