Bangkok is the venue for the 11th Glassman Exhibition taking place on 18-19 February 1998. It will be the first time that the international glass manufacturing event has been held in Thailand and its fifth outing to Asia. Sponsored by Thai Airways International and the Glass Manufacturers' club of the Federation of Thai Industries, Glassman 98 will bring together major players from the East and West and promises to be every bit as successful as in previous years. The latest in glassmaking technology will be unveiled in Bangkok with exhibitors displaying equipment, materials and technology from all areas of primary glass production. Around 126 exhibitors are expected to attend the show. This feature gives a taste of what can be expected at the show and highlights companies making an appearance.
