Thai Plant Completes Tough First Year

Opened in March 1997, the Siamguard plant at Rayong, Thailand was still in its first year of operation when last year's economic crisis hit the country. However, a combination of rigorous cost control and a concerted effort to find new markets, backed by a firm commitment from both parent companies, will ensure that the plant weathers the storm.
