Tensile And Fatigue Behaviour Of Silicon Carbide Fiber-Reinforced Aluminosilicate Glass

Tests on unidirectional and cross-ply laminates of silicon carbide fibre-reinforced aluminosilicate glass have shown that fatigue life can be related to nonlinear stress behaviour of the 0 degree plies, and that the cyclic strain limit is approximately 0.3%.
