Glafurit, manufacturer of furnaces, has been providing tempering systems to GVG-Bietigheim, a producer of special types of glass for building, shipping and vehicle applications, since 1989. The latest acquisition by the German glassworks from Glafurit is the combi-furnace, which combines the advantages of radiation and high convection furnaces. With technology provided by Glafuirt, GVG-Bietigheim has had particular success with its combinations of tempered, heat-strengthened and laminated glass, as well as screen-printed glass.
