Technology Development Of Sensors And Control For Glassmaking

To control the glass founding process and NOx emissions, glassmakers need sensing devices for temperature measurements, flame visualization, combustion gas analysis, batch blanket position control, etc. New developments in sensor technology are occurring in laboratories throughout the world. In this paper the authors attempt to identify the sensors currently available and recognize the areas in which adequate sensors need to be developed further.
