Technological Properties Of Glasses Based On Low Melting Clays (In Russian)

A study has been made of the areas of silicate and glass formation of iron containing glasses based on low melting clays and the melting and annealing temperatures have been determined. The viscosity characteristics of melts from pure clays with alkali additions have been determined and the possibility of producing glasses with ordinary technological performance on the basis of such materials has been demonstrated.
