Takeout Tong Head Alignment

A recent concern of many glass container manufacturers who use IS machines in production is tong head alignment. Verifying the alignment of the tong head assembly is only part of this concern; consideration must also be given to the possibilities of components being worn, damaged, or out of specification. In addition, the tongs actually used in production must be checked for alignment and dimensional integrity.
