Taiwan Glass: Board Approves China Float Line

Taiwan Glass Industry Corp said its board has approved spending $20M to build a second float glass line at its Chengdu plant in the central Chinese province of Sichuan, it emerged 14 October 2005. In a filing to the Taiwan Stock Exchange, the company said the Chengdu plant already has a paid-in capital of $25M before the prospective investment.
