Tableware Producers Prepare For Next Expansion Phase

A decade ago, Egyptian demand for domestic glassware outstripped local production capacity 4:1, the shortfall being met principally by imports from France, Italy and Turkey. Enhanced consumer spending power has seen demand increase further in the intervening period, although manufacturing capacity has also progressed a long way, both in terms of tonnage melted and final product quality.
