Swarovski Italian Subsidiary Records Highest Sales In Europe

The Italian subsidiary of the Austrian group Swarovski recorded a growth of 10% in turnover to ItL118.7bn in 1999, according to a recent press report. Cash-flow for Swarovski Italian was reportedly equivalent to 17.6% of profit. At the end of a year, which has seen a number of investments by the Austrian crystal manufacturer in Italy, the Italian market achieved the highest sales figures within the group for Europe, and the second highest sales for the whole world, behind the US which comes in at first place.
