Swarovski "Crystal Worlds" Expects To Shatter Visitor Record

Swarovski's "Crystal Worlds" park in Wattens, western Austria expects record visitor numbers of 720,000 in 2004, according to company estimates on 10 December 2004. The number of visitors has increased by 20% year-on-year. The number of Austrians visiting the attraction rose by 44%, while German visitors were up 18%. The park recorded more international tourists from central and eastern European countries, especially Russia and Hungary, while the number of Chinese visitors doubled year-on-year Swarovski added more "magical chambers" to the park in December 2003. Since March 2004, the park has also been offering a special exhibition.
