Sun Rises On Uae As A Glass Hub

The UAE has only recently become a place of interest to the hollow glass industry, with the first plant starting production in Dubai as recently as 1997. Nearly 20 years on, there are five companies operating out of the region producing tableware and bottles for the food, beverage, perfume, pharmaceutical and spirits sectors. This article provides an overview of the companies in the country, namely: Altajir Glass; Frigoglass; Arc International; RAK Ghani Glass and Saverglass.
