Study On Lead Leaching From Crystal Glass In Different Conditions (In Chinese)

Three lead crystal glass samples with different Pb3O4 content were prepared and the samples dipped in white spirit and detergent at 80 deg C was studied. The lead leaching rate and surface morphology of corroded lead crystal glass were measured by: weight loss method; optical microscopy; and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The results show that the lead crystal glass soaked in different solutions for several days will lead to the leaching of lead, and the leaching rate will depend on the Pb3O4 content in the samples.
