A Study On The Classification Of Bubbles In Glass Using Modern Techniques

In this paper the author studied the classification of 300 various bubbles using modern techniques. First, the appearances of the bubbles were observed under an optical microscope, and the bubbles then classified according to the kinds of inclusions in them. Then, the solid inclusions in the bubbles were analyzed using nondestructive analysis technique, Laser-Raman-Probe micro-zone analyzer, and sections of the bubbles were analysed using an Electron-Probe analyzer.
