Studies And Measurements On Foam Glass Using A Hot Stage Miroscope

Results of further studies on the process of the formation of foam glass are presented. By study of variations in size of the samples on the hot stage microscope symmetry has been established in the variations in volume. From this it can be concluded that it is possible to produce foam glass by a continuous process in a muffle furnace without using models.
