Structure And Properties Of Glass Affected By Forming Processes

Structural and property changes occur as glass is processed at increasing shear rates. These changes can be monitored by DSC analysis and by DRIFT spectroscopy. DSC and DRIFT spectra can also be used to determine rates and extents of reaction of fibres and powders with moisture.
